What grades of stainless steel can be PVD coated?
The most commonly used stainless steel grades for PVD coating are 304 and 316 – the latter often referred to as Marine Grade due to its superior corrosion resistance.
Grade 304 is well-suited for furniture, fixtures, and interior applications, while Grade 316, with its enhanced durability, is ideal for marine environments and outdoor uses such as yacht fittings, handrails, cladding, and street furniture.
